Ukraine wartime export

According to the State Customs Service, in 2023/24 MY, as of December 8, Ukraine exported 13.92 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, of which 824.000 tonnes were shipped in the current month. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.

This indicator of seasonal export is significantly lower y-o-y, when 18.974 mln tonnes were shipped as of December 9, 2022. The volume of exports in December 2023 is also lower than last year (1.092 mln tonnes as of December 9, 2022).

In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, the following were exported:

— wheat – 6.103 mln tonnes (in December – 194 thsd tonnes);
— barley – 897 thsd tonnes (23 thsd tonnes);
— rye — 0.9 thsd tonnes (0);
— corn – 6.785 mln tonnes (605 thsd tonnes).

The total export of Ukrainian flour as of December 8 is estimated at 51.8 thsd tonnes (in December — 1.9 thsd tonnes, in 2022/23 MY – 59.8 thsd tonnes). Wheat flour export reached 49.5 thsd tonnes (in December — 1.8 thsd tonnes).
